OPTherapy & Wellness is a privately owned and operated outpatient physical therapy facility established in the heart of the East End in Houston, TX since 2020.

Oscar Perez Jr. PT, DPT, ATC, LAT
Prior to receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy education at the University of North Texas, Dr. Oscar Perez PT, DPT obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston. During his undergraduate studies he became a student athletic trainer with the UH Sports Medicine Department sparking a shift in his career goals. In 2011 he received a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Stephen F. Austin State University. He then served as Head Athletic Trainer for Hidalgo Independent School District where he served the district’s student athletes in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Dr. Oscar Perez PT, DPT, owner of OPTherapy & Wellness, has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist since 2015. His experience ranges from working with severely bed bound patients fighting to recover from various debilitating conditions to actively athletic clients wanting to maximize their functional performance. Dr. Perez has worked as a physical therapist in outpatient physical therapy clinics, multiple skilled nursing facilities, and in the home health setting. His experience serving a diverse group of patient populations, of all ages, and functional abilities has given him the experience needed to serve his community.

Lesly Lopez
Lesly serves as an administrative assistant at OPTherapy & Wellness. She recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Born and raised in Houston, TX Lesly has always been drawn to work in the healthcare sector. As an administrative assistant she coordinates patient appointments, manages patient records, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
While thriving in her role, Lesly has her sights set on furthering her education. She plans to pursue a Master’s degree in the near future, driven by her ambition to make a meaningful difference in the healthcare industry. Outside of her professional pursuits, Lesly is deeply involved in her local church community, where she volunteers her time caring for children during services and special events, bringing joy and compassion to every interaction.
